Chef Brandon Wilborn

Chef Brandon Wilborn charms the Basking Ridge culinary community...again.

Brandon was chef de Cuisine of The Store Restaurant for two years prior to his relocation within the organization.  To our delight, he is back on South Finley Avenue treating our guests to a modern twist on everyone's favorite classic dishes.

Brandon was born in the Midwest.  At the age of 18, he left Missouri when he was provided with the opportunity to come to New Jersey to continue his education.  He obtained an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Sussex Community College as well as a bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from William Paterson University.  At the same time, he was working his way up from line cook, to shift supervisor to sous chef.  Upon graduation, Brandon accepted a position as head chef.

Brandon has been working in a professional kitchen since he was just 15 years old.  It was then that his passion for food was realized.  From Kansas City Barbeque to the ancient art of Persian cuisine to classic American fare, Brandon enjoys preparing dishes from around the world.  He even learned how to throw a pizza!

Brandon lives in little falls with his wife, Jodi.  Their family and friends wait for their annual New Years Day celebration with bated breath.  Some of the guests have been known to come from as far as Maryland, Indiana and even Florida.  Food is a very important part of Brandon's life.  The Ridge Tavern is proud to be part of his culinary journey.
